My workshop is not only the place where I
work, but also where I study and lay out the
instruments, it is also the place where I
investigate new building techniques and new
materials.
There is a relative humidity there that goes
from 40% to 45%, this allows the woods to have
the perfect size for their glued in order to
avoid further problems.
For the case of the instruments which have as
destination countries with a humidity inferior
than 40%, I try to maintain that same humidity
during the glued.
I also use tools that calibrate the thickness of
the different parts of the guitar, which grants
me a better accuracy that is reflected in the
accomplished sound.
Some of the tools used are of my own design, and
in some cases even of my own making. On the
other side I have a sector where I stabilize for
several months the woods acquired. I never
use just bought woods. All the supplies are of
“Master” quality and they are bought abroad.
I invite you to know my workshop and some of the
processes of construction of the instrument
looking around all the images of this Gallery ...
